Therapy doesn't always have to happen through words.
Sometimes we need movement, creativity, storytelling, play, or simply a safe space to reconnect with ourselves.

Meet Ida

A woman with curly reddish-brown hair wearing a dark blue headband and a vibrant blue and yellow patterned shawl, smiling happily in an indoor setting.

I'm a Cuban-born, Afro-Latina immigrant, Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, and artist based in New York City.

I believe creativity can help us access parts of ourselves that aren't always easy to reach through conversation alone.

My approach combines psychotherapy with creative and embodied practices, creating a space where you can feel seen, heard, supported, and free to explore at your own pace.

As a bilingual English/Spanish therapist, I also understand how culture, identity, belonging, relationships, and life transitions can shape our experiences of ourselves and the world.
